There has been some coverage of the Irish Contribution to Web 2.0 of late. Read/Write Web recently published an article outlining some of the leading Irish Web 2.0 applications making waves around the world. The Infacta team set off 24 hours ago (it’s a long haul from Sligo, Ireland to San Francisco, California – boy are their arms tired!). Infacta’s CEO, Jonathan Hill, Lead Web Developer Derek McDermott and PollDaddy mastermind David Lenehan touched down early this morning and are preparing for a busy and productive week at the Web 2.0 Expo.
To start the week off, the lads from Infacta will meet with the team of justin.tv at an Irish Pub in the valley tonight. It’s scheduled for 9pm PST (Sunday); so get some popcorn and tune in to watch the Irish contingent attempt to make Justin’s view of life, which has been broadcast live via video 24/7 to viewers around the world over the past 27 days, a bit foggier.
