Celebrating a Milestone: 1000th Post Published Today

Just recently, I shared three tenets for making your brand, project, product or service a viral buzz. One of them was celebrating the value that you created. Well, to take my own advice, I’m blowing up balloons and stretching out the streamers today as I penned my 1000th post for The Messaging Times.

One thousand! Mil! Mille! Eintausend! одна тыÑ?Ñ?ча!

Many blogs have come and gone since I started this one. It seems so easy when you get started – there is so much to talk about and you have so many exciting plans. Then, after some time slips by the blank pages start staring back at you, mocking you sometimes. “What you got?” it taunts. “You ain’t got nothin’!” There’s something really rewarding about breaking down blocks as a writer – forging through those uninspiring days when words are as scarce as wetlands in the Atacama Desert.

But here we are – one thousand posts later from this one man band in Bellingham. Thanks to Jonathan Hill, my boss at Infacta for keeping it alive for so long – for supporting modern conversation platforms and for understanding the value that this little corner of the web can provide to our customers and others who stop by for a bite every now and then. And thanks to everyone who takes time out of their day to visit, leave a comment, send an email or grab a link. You give it all purpose.
