GroupMetrics Service Issues (Update)

Over the past few days we encountered a number of system failures which affected our GroupMetrics email tracking service.

At first, we were encountering a couple of small and sporadic issues which our technicians managed to resolve promptly. Over the weekend, however, our new server experienced a catastrophic system failure which affected the performance of our tracking application. Our technicians have been working on this problem day and night and the service is now up and running effectively on a temporary server.

This is only a temporary solution and we will be moving GroupMetrics to a larger more robust system over the next few weeks. We do expect minimal downtime to the service during this transition, but we will email all GroupMetrics customers with prior notification of the date, time and expected duration of any downtime. We will also post updates and service notices on this blog.

These problems have highlighted the need for us to bring forward the release date of GroupMetrics 2.0, which has been in development this year. In addition to a number of enhancements to the service, GroupMetrics 2.0 is designed to ensure issues like this cannot occur in the future.

Please accept our sincerest apologies for the disruption and any inconvenience this may have caused you and your organization.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at support@group-metrics.com.
