Common Mail Server Addresses and Ports for SMTP, POP3 and IMAP4

I stumbled upon a useful page today which contains a consolidated listing of the most common POP3, SMTP and IMAP4 mail server addresses and associated port numbers. Of course, you should confirm these settings with your provider as this information is subject to change. Many ISPs, for example, are now blocking Port 25.

So, if you’re trying to configure GroupMail or another mail client to send your messages, you might find C3I’s listing of email servers and Ports for POP3,  IMAP4 and SMTP to be a useful resource.

Hi Assad. I would recommend that you contact the host of your mail server and ask them for:

    1. Your SMTP mail server address (outgoing)
    2. The outgoing SMTP Port number, and
    3. Whether authentication is required.
