You can export your recipient groups from GroupMail at any time to a .csv file. Below is a shortcut for exporting them directly to an Excel (or OpenOffice Calc) file.
First, click on “Groups” and either right-click on the group you want to export or highlight the group and select the “Export” link from the navigation panel on the left-hand side of the screen.

You can choose to include field titles in your file and how the exported data will be separated (by Comma). Click “Select” to select the destination file name and location.

Select your file location (Desktop or somewhere else you will be able to find it easily later.) Give the filename an .xls extension (ex. mygroup – export.xls) and select “All File” types. Click “Save”.

You will be brought back to the “Export a Group” screen. Click Next. Then, select the fields that you want to export to the spreadsheet and click “Next”.

Click “Export”

Your export status will be displayed. Click “OK”

Go to your Desktop (or whatever directory you saved your exported file) and double click the file.

A “Text Import” screen will open. For this example, I am actually using OpenOffice Calculator, but a similar screen will open in for Excel. Select “Separated by” and click “Comma”. Then click “OK”.

Voila! Your GroupMail group is now an Excel (or OpenOffice) spreadsheet.
