Hi, thanks for the info, works great sending less than 100 messages. Is there a way to send 4000 messages at a time using a gmail account or from a domain using gmail’s infrastructure? I currently have 10 accounts configured in groupmail and partialy send emails to a list of more than 4 thousand contacts. I’m getting tired of sending 100, then 100, then 100 more with each different account. Any ideas?

    • Hi Samir. No. Gmail has a limit of 100 messages for remote connections to their SMTP server. You could contact your ISP or web hosting company and see what their daily send limit is or take on a secondary SMTP server such as http://www.authsmtp.com and route your messages through their server.

  11. Hi Samir. You can configure GroupMail to send through any SMTP server you have access to. Usually, domain-hosted servers are more liberal with their daily sending limitations than free email services (like Gmail) or ISPs are.

Alternatively, you could route your messages through a secondary SMTP server such as http://www.authsmtp.com. Of course, you will need to use either the GroupMail Personal or Business Edition, as the Free Edition limits you to 100 message at a time.

    Dear,Sirs.

  15. Hi Robert. We don’t sell or rent email lists. We only sell email marketing software.

Be careful pursuing a list of 1,000,000 addresses. The average cost for an email list from a reputable broker is $170/thousand emails (B2C) or $277/thousand emails (B2B). If someone offers you a list of one million address for $199, you can be pretty sure that there will be plenty of invalid addresses on that list and potentially some spam trap addresses.

    Good luck.
