Yesterday was National Cupcakes Day.
I’m not kidding. My wife received an email on Monday with a coupon for a free cupcake from a local cupcake store in Fairhaven.
Hey, if retailers can make up national shopping days like Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Green Monday; why can’t confectioners make up a holiday for cupcakes?
But cupcakes aren’t the only foodstuff that enjoys a special day on the US calendar. According to American Food Holidays, there are around 632 foods which have a national day in America.
