Whenever your products or services get reviewed, there is always some tension in the air. I can only imagine how restaurateurs feel when the food critic stops in unannounced. Of course, it is always difficult to listen to criticism from someone sampling what you put on the plate. Especially when you have spent years working on it, trying to find the perfect combination of taste and presentation (or design and usability).
Of course, the only way to improve something is to listen to your critics. You won’t make any significant improvements if you only listen to the people who think that everything is perfect. Why mess with perfection?
GroupMail has been reviewed many times since it was originally released on the market in 1996. We are generally satisfied with the reviews, and always dissatisfied when we see comments from reviewers that we know are right, but just haven’t gotten around to improving, like design issues. If only there was a magic wand in software development!
ZDNet UK’s review of our GroupMail Business Edition software is no different. We are glad that they appreciated the features that GroupMail offers, the usability and functionality of the software and the good customer service that we offer. We’re also glad that they reminded us that we still have a lot of work to do.
The lads in Ireland posted a review of the review on our GroupMail Blog. You can also read the full review of our GroupMail Business Edition from ZDNet UK.
We understand how important it is to get feedback from reviews and especially from our customers. We use that feedback to improve GroupMail with each release. So if you are a GroupMail customer, please feel free to be a critic and send us your own review of what you like and what you don’t like. Just don’t say that the Guinness is bad. We kind of take that personally.
